CARDIO EQUIPMENT
ROAM Fitness is equipped for your cardio and aerobic needs. Our BWI gym features Technogym equipment, including: two treadmills, one elliptical, one recumbent bike, one spin bike, and a SkillMill, which is a non-motorized treadmill that allows users to walk, run, or sprint from a cold start and add magnetic resistance to make it even more challenging. We also have a Hydrow rower.
Most of the equipment has integrated tablets to provide entertainment options for users during their travel workout through apps like Netflix and Verizon TV. On the treadmill you have the option of recreating an outdoor running route when you use a compatible running mobile app.
STRENGTH TRAINING
Begin your travel workout or cool down in the stretching area– which also functions as a yoga space and offers mats, functional equipment, and plyometric boxes to enhance body weight exercises and give travelers a space to care for their bodies. There is also a TRX system available for those that wish to incorporate more resistance training into their workout.
The functional equipment includes: medicine balls, a BOSU ball, resistance bands, and exercise balls.
STRETCHING SPACE
ROAM Fitness offers a variety of strength training equipment for your airport workout. A standard set of dumbbells (from 5 - 50 lbs) and two weight benches are available at the gym.
ROAM also has a TRX system— a suspension training apparatus that uses body weight and gravity to complete various exercises. Medicine balls are available in varying weights, from 4 - 20 lbs.
